The DWS Samael II is obnonxiously large and powerful, though beautiful. It costs 950,000 Trillion dollars, which means 8888888 LABS had to raise the budget on the recording workstation to film it. Its super weapon is an Anti-proton Projector can vaporize the Sol relict, and it handles pretty well. If you have a budget like Solaris', take it for a spin.

The Prototype X-1 appears to be a section of scaffolding that broke free from one of the derelict shipyards. Probably, anyway. It's 2.250 miles long and can be found drifting through the Sol Sector.

The PS-N NEU Unsung, by Phoenix-Shinkiro, is a shoot-em-up boss come to life. RClick fires the main weapon, an accelerated stream of packets. A set of turreted Naval guns, and missile arrays allow it to reach behind. This capital ship is not fast, but it will utterly shut down swaths of the map. Light ships will survive, as long as they can dance around its teeth.

The Shinigami, by Solaris. This brutal beast brings to bear an unknown number of boosted Bisons, forming a flaming ball that ends life, certainly the most powerful weapon we've seen in Gimbal, yet.

The Hedgehog, by Bruty, could be classified as a very heavily armed corvette. The laser turrets are reminiscent of railgun modes in first person shooters, due to their one-hit nature. The Hedgehog must merely float through the map, and be quick with targetting to dispatch foes swiftly. Teams of Hedgehogs have the power to overwhelm battleships.

SuperTug. A monster sized tug, this fully-grown tug can move battleships around. Use it to influence the velocity of your enemies, or maybe to capture a collection of smaller ships. The world is yours when you drunkenly climb inside the cockpit of the SuperTug.

This week's ship is by DETECTIVE JOHN GIMBAL. An effective battleship, the Fightin Titan was born and bred in competitive Gimbal play. It goes head to head with other battleships, and swats smaller ships like flies. The titan takes a balanced approach, between agility, armor, and firepower, but takes all of them to an extreme. For $128kT you get an arsenal of naval guns, boosted long range missiles, and a top speed of 695 MPH.

This warrior makes the most of its agility, with fast turretted weapons and effortless dodging. The Stabilized M.E.K. is also one of the few mouse-steered ships, which leaves the WASD controls for lateral motion. I like this ship for its focus on finesse rather than brute power, which I also like.

The "H.A.L.O. 2R" is an interesting ship that can envelop itself in a shield of bullets. Check out the video to see more.

The "Banshee" class corvette is an opportunistic killer that can roam a map, picking off the weak, and harassing the strong. In other words, a huge pain in the ass. The armor and speed make it very hard to crack, and the lasers are pinpoint accurate at any velocity. With a price of $41,000T, this ship is a bargain amongst Mastermind ships. The only drawback is a lack of maneuverability, so you'll just have to enjoy where this airframe takes you.

The "Behemoth" may have been the first super-capital ship, built in the 4th century after the Mastermind Event. Today, it finds itself slightly outdated (and its weaponry often outmatched), but the Behemoth's striking presence and focused weaponry let it hold its own in most confrontations.

This titan-class vessel arrives as our second player ship of the week. The Laevetienn's massive size is matched by its cost at 479,428 Trillion dollars. The Laevetienn's purpose is tearing apart other heavy vessels in frontal assaults. Two multiphasic ion engine propel it, and a particle beam array arms it. Supporting weapons include a set of four twin naval cannon turrets for longer range work, and boosted missile arrays for fast moving targets. The durability of the frontal "blade" portion is staggering, allowing it to get in close and deploy its most powerful weaponry.

The Locust is a heavy fighter designed to be the counter to large capital ship designs. It moves like a smaller ship, and carries a payload of eight Bison missiles that can be launched in a narrow fan. Once the missiles have been released, ten miniguns allow it to fight its way out.

One of the more majestic vessels to lurk the Gimbal servers, the PS-N Helios is a true exercise in excess. It is striking, massive, and possesses an orbital laser cannon that can vaporize relicts in one shot.

We found this vessel in an ammonia lake. Its external surfaces resist corrosion, and approximately half its functions are completely autonomous. It seems to be good at chewing up objects with its bolt guns.
